Fear not, dear readers, for I have not left you behind!

I have been really busy, and I still am.

So far, January has been the most stressful month for me during my 2nd year here in school and I'm starting to realize why they say this is the toughest year of them all.
I've spent the past two week (including weekends) doing nothing but writing on my assignments, eating, showering, and perhaps sleeping once in a blue moon.

My skin is in a terrible condition from the stress and what makes it even worse, is that the reason I am stressed, is because I know I have a larger assignment waiting for me. It's not because I'm working on it already and having troubles finishing - no, I don't even know how to start.
I've had to cancel many plans and my friends think I'm neglecting them when the truth is, I really don't have the time and I feel really bad about that.

The rest of my January will be spent on school, school, and more school... but I'm going to Sweden in 18 days to meet a very special friend of mine so I've got that going for me, which is nice.

I promise I will be back to blogging again ASAP. Just hang on a little longer

My New Year's Resolutions

New Year's resolutions.
I believe we've all had them at some point, just some people take it serious in contrast to the many others who forget about them two weeks later.

Up until 2012 became 2013, I've always been in the last category. That year; however, I was in America and I thought that some New Year resolutions could help me make the best out of my year over there. I came up with 10 goals for 2013 (you can read the original and more detailed post HERE )

  1. Be more healthy
  2. Do more exercising
  3. Eat more healthy food - can be better
  4. Smile more
  5. Change peoples' perspective of me
  6. Be more social and a better friend
  7. Throw myself into more stuff
  8. Be more independent
  9. Travel somewhere without my parents
  10. Continue my blog and make it even better
I didn't get to travel anywhere by myself last year because my parents came to visit me in America. Other than that, I got to make all of my New Year's wishes come true! I still want to exercise more though and my blog can always get better, that's the reason I left those out too.

I have a feeling that, one of the reasons I was so happy by the end of 2013, was because I had made these goals come true. It's not the fact that I fulfilled them, but that I lived up the the expectations I had made for myself throughout the year.

We can always get better at something.
Last year I focused on being a more open-minded and happy person. This year I will put my focus on learning.
In 2014 I want to...
  1. Eat more healthy
  2. Visit at least 2-3 foreign countries.
  3. Travel somewhere without family (applies to #2)
  4. Learn how to use Illustrator, Photoshop, and html (At least get the basics down)
  5. Build up a portfolio
  6. Learn basic Korean language
  7. Get a job
  8. Get an A in Spanish class (a test or assignment)
  9. Take time listening to people even though I'm stressed or busy. (It can save lives)
  10. Make my blog even better!
I hope I will succeed ^o^

What are yours?

Did you accomplish your old ones or are you also in the last category?
